What Occurs in practice?

After describing briefly the effects of mudras, their theory and practice, it is important that some knowledge about the actual events during the practice to be known as these might cause false alarms and consternation. Below we list some points that may occur during mudras practices and should be understood as a natural result of generation, accumulation and flow of the Shakti principle:

Hot sweat – it's a good sign. This means that the body undergoes a process of purification and healing.

Swinging and rotation of the body – which shows that the body attunement with the influx of energy is invoked underway.

The hands are moving and rest to various chakra points – this is the result of energy channeled into specific parts the body.

Hands in motion and rest in different layers of the biofield – this indicates that some sectors of the aura is being cleansed and magnetized.

The hands move in a chopping motion and falling – which is one of the signs that the nadis or subtle channels are open and unlocked, or that will is cleaned.

The hands move in a forward-backward movement – as above.

The hands move from left to right – even as above.

Hands moving in circles or ellipses – same as above.

Hands moving in arcs or in figure-eight – As above.

Hands moving erratically or with other specific reasons – same as above.

Hands vibrating intensely – Same as above.

Sudden jerks of the hands – same as above.

A strong sense of energy surrounding the hands and body – this is a sign of an accumulation of cosmic forces in the body.

Warmth, tingling, and power in different parts of the body – as above.

Tingling, and energy flowing through the entire body – which means that the channels were purified Nadi to some degree and that energy is now circulating freely without any obstruction in its path.

Movement of the head – a sign that the energy went head to clean the energy pathways.

Cold sweat – this is an indication of circulatory problems. Cease mudra practices for the time being until the body regains a certain degree of health. Physical gymnastics at this point would be useful.

The breakdown of manpower training – which shows that the body has absorbed enough energy for the moment, or is overloaded. Whatever happens here just go with the flow.

Yawning and belching – this denotes that stagnant chi (prana), or energy is removed.

Spontaneous pranayama, or control of the life force that flows with the breath – this shows that the Shakti flowing in the body has taken control of the respiratory processes and, therefore, the mind can be transformed slowly and awareness-principle will be increased. If the spontaneous pranayama occur, we are making kumbhaka (retention of breath) effortlessly and naturally.

Activity of inner perception or the manifestation of psychic visions, sounds, etc. – this means that the contents of the unconscious is cleansed of all dross. During this process, visions of gods and demons can occur, landscapes may be seen, heard unusual noises.

Jerking movements of the body like a frog-jumping like levitation were to take place.

Experience negative emotional states of anger, hatred, etc. – this is caused by the purifying force sushumna Shakti, or the central channel of the etheric body corresponding to the spine. All of our karmas, traumas, pain, and emotional feelings of our past and present lives are filed and when he meets them Shakti, she releases and expels their crystallizations and the psyche temporarily re-experiences. Positive feelings of happiness, joy and cheerfulness are also housed sushumna in and they can also be experienced.

If we were standing while doing the mudras, one might suddenly feel an inner strength support and movement of the hands, feet and legs in a dance is a possibility as iconic posted by Shiva in the cosmic dance.

Note that all these sensations and movements by hand are temporary and are certain phases of pranic or energy influence. Motions may strong start to the first in the early sessions but later evolve to graceful movements or even immobility. Convulsions and spasms are common manifestations of the activity of energy in the subtle bodies and physical. These are positive signs to let them pass. Kriya yoga as bandhas, and the types of processes mentioned in the text mudra yoga Gheranda Samhita can also occur naturally. Spontaneous occurrences of these are safe – much safer than doing yoga exercises through your own conscious and forcing their manifestation. If none of these responses are observed during practice a spiritual guru responsible may empower the disciple at its own discretion so that progress can proceed with greater speed.

Whatever are spontaneous movements or yogic processes were necessary and appropriate for you. The Shakti energy that flows through you know what to do to spiritualize and transform your entire being. Shakti is an evolutionary force and lift you to new heights, if you let it. When Shakti through your being, you may find yourself spontaneously practicing all the systems of yoga. For example, you may end up withdrawing the senses and focusing within your higher self, as in Raja Yoga, you are from an overflowing love for nature and life, as in Bhakti Yoga, or even the acquisition of knowledge divine effortlessly, as in Jnana Yoga. It may even find yourself singing in Mantra Yoga.

Do not be surprised or afraid of the movements that occur naturally without your conscious or direction. You can exercise your will at any time to stop if you wish, but in doing so, you will hindering the occult work is done for you by the presence of spiritual strength. It would be better to let him proceed. Only in this way you enjoy fully mudra practices.

There are many stories of spiritual practitioners experiencing spasms and involuntary movements of the body and hands while engaging in meditation. One of the spiritual messengers of God called "the Seal of the Prophets" is an example:

One day while meditating in a cave at Mt. Hira, Muhammad, the Prophet Future of Islam, they say shivering uncontrollably. This occurred when a voice commanded him to "recite" or "read". In response to the voice he was unable to do so, he was immediately seized by a spiritual presence (Shakti) that was previously felt to be in the neighborhood (ForceField).

What was the real nature of the experience of the Prophet? Seizures that were experienced symptomatic of an unusual energy that flows through his body? What were the spiritual exercises of yoga that he was engaged this caused such an experience? Did he make use of mudras, or other esoteric practice? It is said that the Prophet was a "widow's son." In esoteric language this refers to an initiate of the Mystery Schools, the latter was called a "widow" after the goddess Isis lost her husband, Osiris, Set to the machinations of their brother, who is the personification of evil and materialism. Isis was the symbol of the Mysteries. In these disciplines spiritual practices and mystical schools were taught to the initiate. Mudras are definitely one of the many teachings. After mastering the teachings and to reach a higher level of consciousness, the initiate emerge from the womb of Isis and Horus become the alleged killer of his uncle evil.

Mudras and Spirituality

It is essential to keep in mind that the sensations, effects, and powers that mudras help unfold is not an end in themselves – they are simply a means to an end. They are tools that can help us achieve Realization the Self. The trend towards a higher state of awareness or experience of oneness with All That Is should be our main objective. Other motives are just baubles that should be abandoned. Mudras, meditation or other religious discipline when exercised for the although the acquisition of the gifts of the Spirit is a spiritual work is not spirituality. Offering unsolicited advice is not spirituality, people predict the future is not spirituality; perpetuating a sense of mortality and helplessness in people is not spirituality, causing others to keep a materialistic attitude is not spirituality. To search the Giver rather than the gift is spirituality; to give selflessly is spirituality, forcing him to stop his desires, or impose its will on others is spirituality. As the sense of separation exists, the sense of duality, the illusion that we are separated from everything else, we will never reach the state of true spirituality where only divine love is the law. The "heresy" of dualism in his mental development and spiritual blindness is what prolongs the "eve of age "where one is ignorant, ignorant, and do not answer the eternal truth of Oneness.

Spirituality has many expressions, however, none of them have nothing to do with the acquisition or vain display psychic powers. Initiates are not always magickally psychic or powerful, but they are sensitive to inspiration, to spiritual impulses emanating from celestial spheres and the Spirit inside. Those seeking ambitiously psychic powers and abilities of self-centered purposes normally until the end chains in the astral realm where they become the playthings of evil spirits. It is much wiser to first purify the mind, body and soul of all negative energies, congestions, sense of limits and blockages and developing the love-wisdom aspect of the soul-intelligence prior to all psychic development. Without a good spiritual and moral preparation, we would deceived, misled and trapped by the wayward psychic forces. Mudras are certainly help on the way to purification, but it should be accompanied by other practices and studies that awakens the heart, and the acquisition esoteric knowledge and wisdom.

Preparation

Empowering Hands

There are energy points in the hands and fingers as they are all on the physical / etheric. Called chakras (lit. "wheels") in the philosophy of yoga, the energy vortex can be detected and verified their existence in various ways. Perhaps the simplest method is to feel directly in their hands. This requires a certain amount of sensitivity though, which may be acquired by an exercise that we provide below.

Clocks can also be used for detection. Hold a pendulum (any kind will do) in your right hand and hold it above the palm of his left hand. Look slowly move in circles. The oscillation can be clockwise depending on the flow of energy if the palm to the outside or inside. Circumference and speed of the swing indicates the size and activity of the chakras. At various points on the fingertips the pendulum might go too indicating the presence of a minor chakra.

As related to Mudra-Vidya, or the "Science of Mudras," what kind of development or empowerment do not require hands? What kind of preparation is necessary for the proper performance of mudras?

First it is useful to massage the hands often so that they be flexible enough to take the positions of the mudras. Most of the mudras are easy to make, some, however, may require isometric exercises of hands as preparation. Flex your hands often – bend it, contract / relax it, stretch your fingers and massage. This would create greater flexibility in the hands and would be conducive to better performance of mudras and improve blood circulation. Hand massage after mudra practices is also suggested to help blood circulation and remove stiffness.

Those who have short hands and stout may have some problems to some mudras, unlike individuals with long slender fingers that palmistry identify as "philosophical" and "psychic". However, subjects with short fingers normally not the type who would be interested in yoga, spiritual formation, or mudras, logically speaking, that the person reading this series of articles is fixed in the development of spirituality, they should not encounter obstacles practice mudras or execution of form.

The next essential step is to empower the hands to increase the sensitivity, activity and size of the chakras hand / finger. This can be done with exercises such as attention on the palms and fingertips. This particular exercise enlarges the hand chakras so that it can be more flow of energy flowing two-way as needed. To carry out this exercise, do the following:

1) focus on each finger for about a minute each. Feel the tingling and vibrating. Start with one hand and then move on to another.

2) Now concentrate on the palm of each hand for about 3 minutes, then move to the palm of one hand. Feel like a flower blooming in your palms.

For do this every day for about 40 days during which the size of the chakras should be permanently extended and greater sensitivity achieved. Meanwhile, it would be allowed to start mudra practices simultaneously with the exercise-against emancipation.

Posture of meditation and inner peace

In general, most of the mudras can be done while sitting in an armchair, legs crossed or standing. Some mudras can Call for body-positions. If you are knowledgeable on Hatha yoga and flexible enough, you can perform various asanas or body positions while practicing mudras as "Padmasana", "Siddhasana" and "Vajrasana."

Before starting mudra-exercises, the practitioner will reap the most benefit first relax the mind and body so that a degree of inner tranquility can be achieved. Any method of relaxation taught hidden in schools can be used, one can use the muscle contraction, possibly coupled with visualization and autosuggestion – The point is that the physical body and mind should be deeply relaxed so that they can not hinder the energy flow coursing through the subtle channels.

Mantras, or words of power

Mudras can be accompanied by songs and vibrant certain bija (the seed)-mantras (words of power) that stimulates / activate the chakras and expand the subtle channels, or otherwise affect the psycho-physical body somewhat metaphysical. As possible, appropriate mantras would be given in association with the mudras in the following documents in this series Mudra. Chanting may be verbal or mental – directions will be given for this.

Seed-mantras should be vibrated strongly as you chant them that the power of the mantra would be felt in the various centers psychic. Vibrating the mantras does not increase the volume of your voice, it means chanting the words-of-power in a particular way so that the vibrations are felt palpable in the microcosm, and some seed mantras requires just intonation.

Breathing exercises and visualization

Pranayama or the art of controlling the life force through rhythmic breathing or specialist, may be involved in, while doing the mudras. Some mudras may specifically call for a certain breathing technique. In general, however, if the instructions are not given, respiration must be allowed to flow naturally without any conscious direction. Visualization can be used to support the specialized breathing. Energy Cosmic can be visualized as a bright silver, white, gold or force – each color has its specific properties. You can try to feel the sensation and know the effects of each of these forces. As a rule, always inhale as you visualize the energy flowing into you, exhale as you channel energy of a certain object, area or space.

In the following papers of these series, a large amount mudras of various traditions will be presented for a practical application.
