You know, if you could only give up all that you think, all you feel, all you believe, everything that’s going on your head ,if you could just turn off your head, you’d find perfect serenity, perfect peace, perfect clarity, that’s where meditation can take you. To a place that’s beyond all mental activity, beyond all sense of self.

Meditation becomes transcendental when you finally let go of trying, and just allow. Don’t do, just be. Be with what is already, what you are already before any idea of you comes to mind. So I’d like to invite you to breathe in right now. Just imagine that you’re taking in all these ideas of your self, your gender, your race, your religion, where you’ve lived, your nationality, all the identifications, all the things you want, all the things you think you are as a person, your entire self-identity, and let them go, as you breath out.

Just imagine breathing in and filling with spirit, and then breathing out and letting all that go as if you’ve undressed yourself of these garments or these layers of persona, and just sit for a moment as the spirit that you are, not being anyone, not trying to get anywhere, just being present, fully present in this eternal moment. Repeat.
