One of the pioneers Tantra in research is Sir John Woodroffe, who had written many learned treatises on the subject. His magnum opus is the "Serpent Power", which is a scientific treatise on the Kundalini. His

New Age – A paradigm shift towards Consciousness Divine and universal philosophy

The New Age Movement (NAM) is a revival of spiritual and divine values and can be called as a movement of regeneration divine. New Age Philosophy has conquered the West intellectually and Western culture is undergoing a phenomenal change – sociological, spiritual and ideological. 3. Human Destiny. Man is the measure of all things and is more divine than the animals and thus the world's salvation depends upon Man. Clean the negative elements the collective subconscious should be the goal of humanity. Once the negativity is cleansed of the collective subconscious, energy positive man shines and the noble ideals of the New Age will be updated in the Age of Enlightenment. Since man is intrinsically divine and perfect, his only real problem is ignorance of that fact. Gnosis means knowledge and experience of salvation in the New Age is for man to be illuminated by this divine gnosis. New Age groups offer various spiritual techniques to enable individuals, and eventually the world to change in this unitive consciousness. These techniques include psychotechnologies May to reach altered states of consciousness – Transcendental Meditation, yoga, zen, harmony, Channeling (Spirit guides), psychics, acupuncture, etc.

4. The Ethical Opposites, Good & Evil – Believing in the Oriental philosophies, New Agers make the distinction between good and evil. All wickedness is weakness and Evil is imperfection. By trial and error, we learn about what is good and what is bad for the world and we must transcend the dualities.
5. Reincarnation. New Agers believe in the Vedic concept ancient philosophical Reincarnation ie through a long process of rebirths, man can eventually attain Divine perfection. They also teach the universal law of karma – ((The law of cause and effect (Every effect has a cause), The law of action and reaction, law of retribution)) that what a man sows he shall reap. It is also the doctrine of non-responsibility of God, the Self is not responsible and is the self that experiences bitter and sweet mental experiences due to his own karma.
6.Salvation is self-realization and sin is ignorance – SSome theorists taught the concept of original sin of man. New Age exhibitors teach the concept of the essential goodness of man. Instead of systems which have stressed the negative side of man and sin, New – Age highlights that every man is essentially divine and it's a sin to call man sinner! However, New Agers speak of troublesome desires which are natural impulses which retard human evolution and move away from the Ego Self. Sin is simply ignorance of the essential divinity of man. The atrophied spiritual consciousness of the normal man who lives in ignorance of his Divine Self is Sin. As the law of conservation of energy states that energy can neither be created nor destroyed, the law Conservation of Soul states that the soul can be neither created nor destroyed. Matter exists in 3 states, liquid, gaseous and solid material can not be created or destroyed. Nothing ever begins to be. Similarly, life does not rise to the physical begin to be. It merely enters physical conditions and assumes physical form. He just underwent a parallel transformation into conditions which existed other conditions. The soul is reincarnated in different bodies in a continuous succession of lives. The good or bad karma earned in this life determines its subsequent incarnation. Achieve states of arousal should be our aim.There are many different paths to the goal of divine perfection and we must be tolerant of other paths.
