Indoor Garden Ideas: The Indoor Gardener
I suspect some kids today do not spend countless hours to put together the perfect garden. For us, 9 and 10 years, the first step was the one begging old biscuit tin lid of our mothers or grandmothers. The biscuit tin lid was ideal because it was just the right depth. Then, armed with our empty cans lids, we make our way to the end of the garden or in my case, in the woods that grew around the house my grandparents. Here we would like find the conditions ideal for damp sphagnum moss to grow and many of leaf mold to use as compost. We fill our boxes just below the rim with leaf mold, then gently push the peat moss in place to completely cover the leaf mold in the tin lid.
The next step was to obtain small stones or small shells – I was lucky there because we lived a few meters from the beach so I had access to many shells. We could then proceed to decorate our gardens – one year, I was even able to get alpine plants growing in mine: I enjoyed some of these small plants in the hollows of our garden wall. Make a garden was often gave us a task like homework from school during our Easter holidays. Of course, it helped that we all appreciated the decisions. Today, unfortunately, it seems rather a lost art.
A more modern interpretation – To the west, at least – is the executive Zen Meditation Garden. This is probably best known as a sand garden. In fact, I bought one this year for my daughter for Christmas. The intention this is to create an oasis of calm in the lives of busy people and reduce the stress people are under today. These miniature gardens of sand were inspired Ryoan-ji, the Zen Rock Garden in Kyoto, Japan. If you purchase a kit, the Zen Garden comes with white sand, rakes and Zen range polished stone, with a brochure explaining the concept of Zen. Some kits include a Zen chime Tori, tea candles, a mallet and a few sticks of incense. All it is in a wooden box of beautiful pink that is beautifully finished and made an absolutely delicious and original contact in connection with any interior design project.
On the topic of indoor gardening ideas further, there are companies that provide different plants within office buildings. There are palm trees that require light levels up to 800 lux, from just 50cm to 10m or more. Plants such the forsteriana Howea that really well in conditions where the light is reasonable. The Dracaena family of plants is one of the most popular plants for gardens interior dark green leaves that need only a relatively low level of light even though the variegated Dracaena do prefer a little more light. They can spend a little from 30 cm to 5 m high. Dracaena is known by the names of the sweet song of India, and the song of Jamaica, among others. Whether the gardens of sand or gardens within our youth, there is no doubt that growing plants in the house changes the atmosphere of a room and gives it more attractive living and adds.
