Mastering Your Mind Power: affirmations Really True?
Let's say that one element of your Wishlist DO is a desire to be rich. You've written a short paragraph of what being rich means to you, and you've designed the following statement: Every day in every way, I become increasingly rich! It will not be very long before the tail-enders have facilitated your thoughts with statements like: Who are you kidding? Your state Financial today is the same as if it were yesterday. You can not get rich with this affirmation stuff. You'd be better off to take this award $ 5 in your pocket / and go buy lottery tickets.
One comment I hear from users of statements is that they feel assertions are false. This seems especially true for people who interrupt their efforts to change their life with affirmations. They seem to think they lie to themselves when they repeat a statement. There are two critical points that I want to reinforce in your mind.
Point 1 is that you move your thoughts and beliefs in the opposite direction (180 degrees) from your previous habits of your constant DO NOT WANT to think. It is similar to your have a piece of unused land at the rear which is full of useless weeds, grasses and shrubs. You decide to plant a garden garden. This decision requires you to remove unwanted weeds and useless herbs and shrubs.
After deleting things unwanted is made, you must cultivate the land, add all the needed nutrients, then you plant seeds of vegetables of your choice. As the seeds germinate, you regularly take care of your new garden to quickly remove any new unwanted grass, weeds, etc. to ensure that you give your vegetable seeds an opportunity to fully develop.
You do not think of planting and maintenance of your new garden seeds that lie to yourself or the earth. You simply have taken actions to remove something that you DO NOT WANT (useless weeds, grasses and shrubs) and you replace them with something you DO NOT WANT (vegetables).
You should consider your routine affirmation of same way. Affirmations are as true as the seeds you plant in your garden. Even if you can not physically see the fruits of your labor immediately, you know that the harvest already pre-exists in the seeds. You should seek to develop and maintain such an attitude similar or related to your assertions.
Point number 2 is thought to lie to yourself are the tail Enders. This analogy garden serves as a perfect example of how self-image old refuses go softly into the night. It feels you are bringing death to her and she needs to fight for its existence. It uses tail Enders, emotions negative, and repeated thoughts on events in the past to try to stay put and keep control.
I am sure you've noticed that I am referring to the self-image, as if it is a separate entity within yourself. Working with image self in this way was important for me. I often communicate with it in my self-talk (I even), it is reassuring to see that my intention was re-train, without destroying it. It is a strategy you may find useful too.
What I know for sure. You can apply or re-claim control of your own mind power. You are the most miraculous of all living things on earth. You are the owner of a mind which is so great, that while you really start controlling your mind power and consciously using it, it is not a dream you can dream that you can not reach.
