biofeedback software

Has anyone tried biofeedback software?
I wondered whether biofeedback can be done on oneself to great effect. This would to encourage calm and focus, and to realize what these things throw off. I especially thought it a point that would have mobile at least tell you that your heart rate and perhaps the body temperature. I am aware that there is some software out there, but do not know if that is correct / Useful. I imagine that meditation is only useful if practiced regularly. Anyone have any opinions or advice?
I did not use any software bio-feedback, but made a biofeedback session.
