German Measles / Rubella Questions?
When I was about three years, my left eye has lost the ability to move left. My parents took me to an ophthalmologist who did a quick look and said he did not know what had caused, but the muscle had been damaged and my left eye would be able to move in all directions without complications — Except to the left. A few years later in kind of a by-the-by thing my parents took me to another Docter who had a bio-feedback machine. He said that when I received my German Measles shot that I had somehow contracted the virus and had caused harm to my eyes. I was really young to remember exactly what was said. My question: Could this really happen? If yes, why did he attack my eye, and what kind of damage he done? I researched on the Internet for rubella and did not really find a lot of info, others it is a virus with the Benin side little or no button.
Darn near anything is possible, but in this case, it is highly unlikely. I doubt that another doctor would have done with their lives after the diagnosis of rubella that caused this problem, at least without much testing to exclude other causes.
