What is Brainwave Entrainment, Brain Wave Stimulation & Binaural Beats?

When a person practices deep meditation and relaxation he or she entered the Alpha brainwave state. Alpha is only one of five major brain waves we recognize today. Our airwaves brain dominate our mood and activity; Scientific research has found that the frequency of electrical impulses in the brain determine which state the brain waves, we are working in.

Certain sound and light pulses were created that can actually stimulate frequency of our brainwaves, modify, and therefore our state of mind. Such is the nature of Brainwave Entrainment and binaural beats. Frequencies are the most commonly ordered, Beta, Alpha, Theta, Delta and Gamma.

Despite naturally there is never a single absolute speed of operation brain waves at a given time, there is usually one that dominates the rest and therefore dominates our moods and our actions:

Sound is a force more powerful and one that touches us on many different levels. Consider how a few years ago companies used soft tones in elevators of skyscrapers early to reduce the fear and tension of the occupants – Elevator Music! Imagine Jaws without its theme tune! A horror film with no increase in tension and nerve jump Soundscapes, suddenly chic without its romantic tracks sound – get the idea?

How Do Brainwave training sessions?

The correct way to guide or embed the brain with the sound to the desired brainwave pattern is to first create the pulses frequency sound that neurons in the brain begins to synchronize with – like a room full of people who all begin to dance in rhythm to the beats of a song music.

Once this synchronization is estimated to take place, usually about six minutes after a session without interruption, the sound pulses begin to change gradually the frequency of direct – or enthusiasm – our brain waves to the target frequency and thus produce altered states of mind.

The types of sounds used in a workout can vary, some mainly use binaural beats and tones combine some isochronous to create pulses. Other music, sound tracks and nature can also be combined with the pulses, allowing the listener to appreciate and 'relax' in the most experience.

What are binaural beats?

Binaural Music Sometimes called a binaural beat works by creating a sound frequency that is generally not audible to us. For example, it is possible to create a frequency of 10Hz to 210Hz playing an ear headphones, and 200Hz in the other ear. The brain processes the frequencies and hear the difference between the two – in this case, 10Hz.

They may not always be the most effective way to cause the brain because the sound of our brains "mixing" capabilities reduce the depth of his final unless a whisper, therefore, does not provide a strong impetus for the brain to synchronize with.

Binaural beats use the brain to process the information first, then "hear" sounds, they are only made possible by the use of headphones. Binaural beats are also dependent on an operation of equality of the two hemispheres (sides) of the brain, and may therefore not be effective for some.

However they can be useful because they provide a very hypnotic response, perhaps because the brain is more internally involved in processing of sound?

What are isochronous tones?

The tones sometimes used in the sessions are isochronous tones and tone depending on the pulse. They offer a very consistent pace cutting, they stop and start exceptionally fast allowing the brain to synchronize more easily and accurately. They produce a very strong reaction and may provide the most effective way to stimulate the brain.

How do we use Brainwave Entrainment?

These audio sessions are used in a variety of ways. Some use them to achieve a deep state of relaxation or meditation. There is evidence that certain frequencies can alleviate conditions such as add, depression, stress, anxiety and more. Harvard Medical School professor Herbert Benson in his book;
