Types of migraine?
When I was 4 years old, I started getting weird migraines that I was 12 years (the last being worse). The symptoms are most similar type with basilar aura, but with a little twist: I lost the ability to understand and speak English (My mother tongue). When people talk to me, I think they were talking gibberish … * * I would try to answer. Trying to say something like "I do not understand you" come out in stores Duck "Water" (a bit like an example …). In my head, I think "Does it make sense? Have this I think just common sense? Do I think what I was thinking just common sense? "Finally, I would not even be able to say no sensically (I know it's not a word). All I could do was hold my head and cry. So I a little black, going to sleep for 12 hours, and a dull headache for 2 days. Has someone heard of this kind of experience with migraine before or what kind? Thank you in advance =)
It's strange, I've never heard of aphasia is associated with migraine. I suppose that could make sense because Wernicke's or the area of Broca's area could be affected. I asked my friend and he told me headaches and other neurological disorders can cause transient aphasia.
